In terms of price, aviation is 60 yuan more expensive than the shuttle bus, but the air journey takes only one hour and the shuttle journey takes seven hours. "Maybe the highway in Shandong is too developed, affecting the development of regional airlines in the province. However, Jinan to Yantai, Weihai, such routes should still develop aviation, because the car is too far away, moving for four or five hours." Regional flights become "second choice"

At present, all localities are keen on trunk flights in Beijing, Shanghai and other places, forming multiple parallel routes in the province; the tourist sources in prefecture-level cities are not large, resulting in a low overall passenger load factor. In order to cope with losses and maintain flight operations, local governments have invested a lot of money. Flights that do not talk about social needs are also a huge waste of resources.

Regional aviation expects more support

The excessive use of civil shipping resources in trunk airlines has created an uneven market structure. After all, it is impossible for the high-speed rail to repair every branch.

The development of regional aviation in the province is not satisfactory. According to the reporter, the flight from Jinan to Qingdao has been cancelled for more than half a year. Flights from Jinan to Yantai and Jinan to Weihai maintain one to two shifts a day, and the ticket price is relatively expensive. According to Jinan Airport staff, the tickets for these two routes are almost full price. The ticket price of Jinan to Yantai on January 6 is 580 yuan, plus 50 yuan airport construction fee, 40 yuan fuel surcharge, passengers need Pay 670 yuan.
